Carmen Electra was born on April 20th, 1972, in White Oak, Ohio, near Cincinnati. Her original name was Tara Leigh Patrick, and she was born of Irish, German, and Cherokee descent. After high school, in 1991, Carmen moved to Los Angeles, California. She changed her nameto Carmen Electra and collaborated with musician "Prince" to develop a music career, signing a contract with Prince's record company, Paisley Park Records.
