Robert Pattinson new face of Dior.. Don't you just love?!!

Robert Pattinson has reportedly signed a multi-million pound deal to be the new face of Christian Dior's men's fragrance.

The Twilight heartthrob, who is currently promoting the hotly-anticipated final film in the vampire saga, will star in a series of ad campaigns for the brand's line, reported E! News.

A source said the 26-year-old actor has signed a three-year deal with the French fashion house, and that it is thought to be worth close to 12 million dollars.

R-Patz follows a host of Hollywood stars who have fronted campaigns for the brand, including fellow Brit Jude Law and Black Swan actress Natalie Portman.

He is also following in the footsteps of his Twilight co-star and real-life girlfriend Kristen Stewart, who is the face of Balenciaga's Florabotanica scent.

The final Twilight movie, Breaking Dawn - Part 2, will be released in November.

John Galliano Scandal

The latest twist in the story that won't go away sees John Galliano's  award revoked by François Hollande.

After being photographed lunching at the Paris Ritz with Anna Wintour during Haute Couture Fashion Week, it seemed things might finally be on the up for disgraced fashion designer John Galliano.

However WWD report that following his conviction for hurling anti-Semitic abuse at a woman outside a Paris café in February 2011, Galliano has been stripped of his Legion of Honour Award by French President, François Hollande.

The Gibraltar-born British fashion designer, who was ousted from creative director roles at both Christian Dior and his eponymous label following his arrest, was decorated as a Chevalier of the Legion of Honour at the Elysée Palace in 2010. The award is traditionally given for services to France, with other decorated fashion luminaries numbering Hubert de Givenchy, Yves Saint Laurent, Azzedine Alaïa, Franca Sozzani, Marc Jacobs and Anna Wintour.

With rumours circling that he is poised to make a comeback in the ever-forgiving fashion world, Galliano will no doubt be dismayed that talk of the ugly incident - which the designer attributed to work-related stress - has flared-up again.

Separately, it is believed that Galliano has lodged an employee/employer dispute claim for over €15 million (£11.9 million) at the Conseil des Prud'hommes, with a Paris hearing scheduled for February 4, 2013.

Dior Couture: The making of the million flower set

Come behind-the-scenes as the Dior team painstakingly build the elaborate floral set for Raf Simons' couture debut in Paris.

There were peonies, goldenrod, dahlias, carnations, delphiniums, orchids and all kinds of roses. Flowers splayed from floor to ceiling.

'The décor for the haute couture presentation this season was an event unto itself' Dior say on their website. And they're not wrong.

It's easy sometimes for the pampered fashion editors, socialites, and celebrities perched on their Napolean III seats at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week to take their surroundings for granted, but no one attending the Dior show last week could have failed to be awed by the intensely beautiful set.

Created from one million fresh flowers painstakingly cut and arranged to decorate the walls of the five private salons playing host to Raf Simons' debut, the set has rightfully earned a short film paying tribute to the effort involved in bringing it to life.

We wonder what happened to all those flowers after the 15-minute presentation drew to a close and the beautiful people filed out. Perhaps Dior had them packed and sent to front row guest Princess Charlene of Monaco's palace? She's probably not short on vases…

Paris Spring/Summer 2012 Fashion Week- Christian Dior

It's the first Dior collection without John Galliano and since the mixed reviews of their Couture collection designed by Bill Gaytten and team they've had alot of pressure to really up their game. So what can we say about the spring/summer 2012 collection but that it was elegant, feminine and sexy, however it was worlds away from Galliano's creations. The evening gowns had a certain hollywood glam to it, which will be popular come award season. Personally I think they did a great job!
