In its current form, it is a tight-fitting silk tunic worn over pantaloons. The word can be pronounced /awzai/. It's not only traditional but modern. Aodai is one of the most gracefull and aristocratic clothes. It's the soul of Vietnamese women_elegant and charming.

Vietnamese women wears aodai in festival, feast-days, Tet holliday and other special occasions. In some high school, students wears white aodai as uniform and it's also a common official fashion..
