Valentine’s Day Blazer

To celebrate the romantic and whimsical vibes brought by the month of February, Amanda Gedeon of BOW and Alanoud Badr of Lady Fozaza are proud to announce their exclusive Valentine’s Day collaboration.
Produced by Capital D studios and shot at the Botanical garden of Dubai’s prestigious Raffles Hotel, the campaign captures the essence of Valentine’s day. Paired with shimmery silver sequins, denim cut-offs, white lace and an embroidered corset, the ‘V’ blazer gives a modern and playful vibe to a tradition that dates back centuries.
The design of the ‘V’ blazer embraces Lady Fozaza’s strong structural aesthetic, but her signature shoulder pads and spiked detailing are replaced with the femininity and sensuality that Amanda is known to incorporate in the fresh and flirty collections of BOW.
The limited edition piece is made from a delicate nude coloured crepe satin, and is lined with beautiful white butter crepe. Dramatic cut-outs are creatively positioned below the shoulders of the sleeves, and the back of the blazer features a pink heart-shaped cut-out. The design takes the form of the trendy boyfriend blazer—a style that was repeatedly revealed on SS2012 runways.
